Odyssey Book 21 – Part 6, Ancient Geek podcast episode 6, and some loving illustrations!

It’s (the day after) Odyssey Day (sorry!)

A bit late this time because 1) life and 2) my pen ran out (seriously, and I lost my only decent one and had to wait for new ones to arrive), the sixth part of Book 21 is now available – click here or the image snippet to see the whole thing. You’ll also be able to read the comic on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Thanks for reading and listening!

The Ancient Geek podcast

This week’s rant is on how we need to do more talking about ancient slavery, in order to prevent dangerous misunderstandings and prejudice. It’s a more serious one this time, and I hope I’ve done it justice. You can listen now at the Ancient Geek page, or wherever you get your podcasts. I write a reading list for every episode, and you might find the links interesting.

NB: These are Classroom-appropriate rants that aim to explain or clarify ideas and misconceptions in Classical Civilisation. You can see more details and find out how to listen at the main page here.

New LOVE illustrations

This year for Valentines and Lupercalia I released some new artwork, inspired by ancient art. My Patreons get watermark-free versions of every image, but you can see them on my Instagram or Twitter accounts, or in the Redbubble shop. You can also get PDFs of print-your-own cards, colour and colouring-in, in case you’d like to send a card to a friend or let your kids at home or school have some colouring fun.

Click any link to see all the designs!

All the best, whatever lockdown, quarantine, or relative normalcy you may be in (you lucky ducks!),

Jenks.
