Hello lovely myth fans!
Ancient Creatures last few days!

As of writing this, there are 58 hours until the launch ends, and the launch has been funded… *checks for the millionth time because it’s too amazing* 510%! It’s been a Project We Love on Kickstarter since early on, and I’m feeling pretty proud of these little books right now. If you’ve been biding your time (or just clean forgot) to place an order yourself, you have until Sunday June 26 6:00 PM BST to pick up a physical copy of either book, or a bundle with stickers, or even a digital copy of the colouring book to print at home or school for your classes!
Use the link below to pre-order your copy or share with a friend you think will like!
Odyssey Readalong!
You might be aware of a recent ‘Classics discourse’ (read: internet argument) about whether reading the Odyssey before writing a retelling of it is strictly necessary, and whether or not it is, the idea that the Odyssey is being presented as not an accessible piece of literature has been burning through the minds of many Classicists since!

My new friend Plato’s Fire (she of the insanely beautiful jewellery – click to see) has started an online Odyssey Readalong, a fun book-club themed journey through the text where, using the hashtag #OdysseyReadalong2022, fans and those new to Homer will be able to chat about it with eachother on Instagram and Twitter. I’ll be joining in (OF COURSE) with Comix and materials to make it even more accessible. Follow the hashtag on Insta or Twitter to see a much more enjoyable ‘discourse’!
Jenks.
