TITLE: Odysseus returns Ino’s veil ‘without looking back’
Ino, a sea goddess who used to be a princess, stands in the sea wearing a silky robe. She says “no peeking!”
Odysseus is in the foreground, shivering, bedraggled, cold and wet, having just come out of the sea. He’s also naked and trying to cover himself, and as he hands back the veil and without looking behind him he says “no peeking yourself!”
